Yes. They offer in-home demonstrations, along with a mobile home-visit engineer service.

Yes. They provide servicing, safety checks and repairs for scooters, powerchairs and stairlifts, including mobile servicing.

How long have they been trading?

Sandringham Mobility is an independent business with more than 30 years of experience.

Is Sandringham Mobility an established business?

We could not find a Companies House registration under this name when we checked on 17 August 2026. That is common for sole traders and partnerships, which are not required to register, and it is not a warning sign in itself. It does mean there are no public accounts, so judge the business on the showroom, the engineers and what other customers say.

Where it is and when it opens

The shop is at 60 Sandringham Road, Intake, Doncaster DN2 5HZ, telephone 01302 360085. The company website gives opening hours as Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.45pm, while third-party directories list 9.30am to 4.30pm. Ring before travelling.

What independent reviews say

Checked on 17 August 2026.

  • Google: 4.2 out of 5 from 39 reviews.
  • Yell: 5 out of 5 from 2 reviews.
  • Trustpilot: no profile found.

A 4.2 average across 39 unsolicited Google reviews is a more honest signal than a near-perfect score from an invitation campaign, and it is the figure worth weighing here.

Sales and servicing cover different brands

This catches people out. The brands sold are Vanos, Kymco, Pride and Cabin Car, while the servicing list is much wider and includes Kymco, TGA, Roma Medical, Pride, Orion, Monarch, Excel, Electric Mobility and Drive. So a scooter they will happily service is not necessarily one they sell. Mobile engineers cover Doncaster and the surrounding area, and sales and demonstrations are offered across Doncaster, Sheffield, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe.

What to check before you buy

  • If you own a brand they service but do not sell, ask whether they can still source parts for it.
  • Book the home demonstration rather than deciding in the shop. A scooter that handles well on a flat showroom floor can be wrong for your own kerbs and doorways.
  • Ask what the safety check covers and what it costs. Battery testing, brakes, tyres and electrics should all be in it.
  • If you are buying second-hand, ask what warranty comes with it and whether the batteries are new.
  • Finance is offered through Snap Finance. Check the total repayable, not just the monthly figure.
