Reviews on Review Mobility are free to leave and free to read. We publish the good and the bad. Companies cannot pay to remove a review, improve a score, or buy a label. This page says how we check reviews, in plain English.
The labels
- Confirmed: the reviewer clicked a link we emailed them, so we know the email address is real.
- Verified customer: the reviewer showed us an order number or paperwork, with personal details covered, so we know the purchase is real.
- No label: we could not check either. The review still went through moderation; it just carries less weight.
Labels are free and optional, and they are the only way to get one: companies cannot buy them, for themselves or anyone else. Labelled reviews count for more in ratings and rankings.
What we never allow
- Companies or their employees reviewing their own business, even as genuine customers, or reviewing their competitors
- Family members posting promotional reviews
- Paid, incentivised or swapped reviews
- The same customer posting the same complaint many times
What we remove
We remove reviews that break the rules above, or that contain personal information or abuse. We check with both moderation staff and automated tools. We never remove a review because a company dislikes it, and companies cannot pay for removal.
Companies can respond
Any company can claim its listing free of charge and reply to its reviews. The reply appears under the review, labelled as the company’s response. Claiming a listing changes nothing else: not the score, not the ranking, not the reviews.
Writing a useful review
The most useful reviews say what you were quoted, what you paid, how long you waited, which branch or engineer you dealt with, and what happened when something needed putting right. Testimonials on a supplier’s own website are chosen by the supplier. Yours will not be.
Report a review, or appeal
Every review has a report link. You can also email hello@reviewmobility.co.uk, whether you are a reader who spotted something wrong or a reviewer whose review we removed. A human reads every report.
