Glenmore Mobility is Scotland’s largest independent mobility equipment dealer, operating from showrooms in Edinburgh and Bathgate. Established in the late 1990s and formally incorporated in 2008, this family-run business has built a strong reputation across central Scotland for knowledgeable service, quality products and a genuine commitment to helping customers maintain their independence.Their product range includes mobility scooters, powered and manual wheelchairs, riser recliner chairs, electric adjustable beds, walking aids and high seat chairs. Glenmore stocks equipment from a variety of established manufacturers, giving customers access to a broad selection of products across different price points. Both their Edinburgh and Bathgate showrooms are set up for customers to view, try and compare products in person before making a decision.A key feature of Glenmore’s service is their free home visits, where staff bring equipment directly to the customer’s home for trial in their own environment. This is particularly valuable for larger items like riser recliners and adjustable beds, where fit and comfort in the customer’s actual living space are essential. Glenmore also offers rental services for customers who need temporary equipment. Their long-standing presence in the Scottish mobility market and independent family-run approach make them a trusted local choice.

I phoned to ask if they stocked Sherborne riser recliner chairs. This was immediately confirmed so I set off to view the range of chairs. On arrival I searched but couldn’t find a single chair.
I was approached by the manager and asked to see a Sherborne chair. He led me to a chair and when I asked if this was a Sherborne he said it was. On challenging him he assured me it was. I pointed out the remote did not show the brand name he said it was still a Sherborne style chair.
It took me an hours drive to get there and was not impressed at all. I had to tell him I had been misled. To my face he denied this.
I will never return. Be aware.

I wish more people were more savvy with social media. I was misled when buying a mobility scooter. They seem to dismiss everything you say about your requirement needs. If a person they need something they should respect that. The one I got was supposed to be new and the small back wheels were loose..it definitely was not new as claimed and it’s so big I struggle to get it in flat

I bought a wheelchair eletrick one. Once I received it the arm rests locks you had to press but I phoned and I was told that you just press it down. did not look new. Then the arm rests did not look new they have marks on which tells me that it is not new.

Due to a sudden bereavement we we’re forced to cancel an order that we only recently placed with Glenmore. The help and consideration that we received from the staff was first class.
Thanks again
