Terry Lifts is a privately owned UK manufacturer of domestic through-floor lifts and vertical platform lifts, based at Longridge Trading Estate in Knutsford, Cheshire. Founded in 1948 by Eric Terry as a small engineering shop, the company has over 50 years of specialist lift manufacturing experience and moved to its current premises in 1998.The company’s product range includes the Harmony, Harmony FE and Lifestyle home lifts, all designed to provide safe, comfortable access between floors for people with reduced mobility. A key feature of Terry Lifts products is their integrated fire and smoke protection, with built-in smoke alarms that comply with BS 5900:2012, the British Standard for domestic through-floor lifts. All products are manufactured in the UK to both British and European standards.Terry Lifts holds an extensive range of certifications including ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and ISO 45001:2018 (health and safety). The company is a member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) and holds Safe Contractor and Constructionline accreditation.
