Booked an emergency repair and service for my father’s stair lift as Handicare couldn’t fit us in until the end of the week. Quick response and the engineer (Rhys – sorry about the spelling) arrived the next morning as arranged. Very helpful and worked hard to limit the inconvenience to my father. Clear explanation and clean and tidy work. We will definitely be returning for the next service

Very pleased with the service and my new Single rail stair lift from Seniors of Yeadon Leeds. They were polite explained how it all worked, measured my staircase gave me his card shook my hand and left. I phone Seniors spoke to Joe and ordered the Single Tube Rail stair Lift Paid the deposit. Joe told me they would contact me and let me know the delivery and fixing date and time, saying they give me plenty of notice. That all happened they installed the lift, there was no mess they cleaned up watching me use it No problems. This was Yesterday 20/5/22 Thank You excellent company would highly recommend them

I cannot thank them enough. There were no problems Roy came at the time that I chose he talked me through some options, measured the stairs, there was never any hard sell. Stairlift fitted on the day I chose. The fitter was polite completed within half an hour there was no mess he showed me how to use it. Payment was easy over the phone. I would definitely recommend this company
Rees the technician was competent and replaced the batteries which supposedly last 2years but had given up in under 1year from a new install. However we were charged the same call out charge as for an emergency callout despite booking an annual service type visit with a few days notice. We were later told it was a reduced callout charge when we queried it.. however a quick google shows callout charges of well under 100 pounds from various companies-so senior stairlift are charging well over double the usual charge. With a disabled mum i felt held up for ransom and will be talking to trading standards about these practices. I also wonder if there is a great incentive for some companies to need to replace batteries and charge well over 200pounds for an hour’s work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear you’re not happy with the cost of your repair. As we have already discussed, the lift that you had fitted by a company that has now gone into liquidation, was faulting, resulting in a call out as opposed to a service. As a gesture of good will, I reduced the call out charge from £185 (including labour) to £145 (including labour) and then parts are charged accordingly. This was all agreed prior to our arrival by yourself and I so am surprised to see such a negative reaction.
I am aware there are companies out there who charge less of a call out but we strive to deliver the best possible service with the years of experience our engineers possess.

Just for clarity your stairlift was fitted cheap by a company which has now gone into liquidation.
When we receive calls requesting a service, we ask if stairlift is fully working. If it isn’t our visit would need to be a call out where we visit, diagnose and repair the lift instead of a service which is routine maintenance.
The batteries were charged on top of your call out fee, we do not supply them for free.
We agreed the price for our visit on the phone which by the way we reduced for you by £40. We visited, diagnosed and repaired your stairlift.
If you were not happy with our fees then we can’t understand why you booked us in.
You will always find a cheaper company but you will not find better service.
