The Walk in Bath Co Unclaimed profile

The Walk in Bath Co is a specialist accessible bathroom company based in Shipley, near Bradford. Incorporated in 2018, with a team that brings around 20 years of experience in assisted bathing, the company designs, manufactures and installs walk-in baths and walk-in showers in the UK. It handles the full process in house, from a free home design consultation through to fitting by its own installers.

The walk-in bath range is built for safe, comfortable bathing. Every bath is fitted with a powered lifting seat as standard, so the user can be lowered into the water and raised back to a seated position to get out safely. For people who prefer to step away from a bath altogether, the company also supplies level-access walk-in showers and wet rooms. Models are designed to fit standard UK bathroom footprints, which usually avoids major structural work.

Quality and hygiene features run through the range. Baths and trays use BioCote antimicrobial technology to help resist mould and bacteria, and shower screens use a safety-glass coating that repels water and dirt. The high-quality doors and seals carry a lifetime guarantee, and every bath and shower is covered by a lifetime guarantee against leaks.

Installations are carried out by the same DBS-checked fitters for consistency, and finance options are available through an FCA-regulated credit broker. The company is based in West Yorkshire and serves the surrounding area and customers further afield, so it is worth calling on 0800 464 7840 with your postcode to confirm coverage. For anyone weighing up a walk-in bath or accessible shower, The Walk in Bath Co offers a UK-manufactured, single-supplier service from design to aftercare.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a walk-in bath and a walk-in shower?

A walk-in bath has a low door so you can step in and have a seated soak, usually with a powered lifting seat, while a walk-in shower or wet room removes the bath for level, step-free showering. The company supplies both and can advise which suits your bathroom and mobility needs.

Do they manufacture and install the baths themselves?

Yes. Their walk-in baths and showers are designed and manufactured in the UK, and they handle the full service from a free home consultation through to installation by their own DBS-checked fitters.

Do they cover my area?

The company is based in Shipley, near Bradford, and serves the surrounding area as well as customers further afield. Coverage beyond West Yorkshire is best confirmed by calling 0800 464 7840 with your postcode.

What guarantee comes with a walk-in bath?

Every bath and shower comes with a lifetime guarantee, and the doors and their seals also carry a lifetime guarantee against leaks. Installations are carried out by the same DBS-checked fitters for added reassurance.

How disruptive is the installation?

Models are designed to fit standard UK bathroom footprints, which usually avoids major structural work. Exact timescales depend on your bathroom and chosen product, so the team will confirm details during your free design visit.
