Westwood Stairlifts Unclaimed profile

Westwood Stairlifts is an independent, family-run stairlift installer based at Seaton, near Oakham in Rutland. Established in 2016, the company covers the East Midlands and East Anglia, fitting new straight and curved stairlifts along with outdoor, reconditioned and rental options. Most stairlifts are installed in under a day.

The company carries out installations with its own in-house team of fully qualified, manufacturer-trained engineers rather than third-party fitters, and supplies leading UK and European brands including Handicare, Access BDD and Acorn or Brooks. New straight stairlifts start at a fixed, fully fitted price, with curved and outdoor models quoted after a survey, and rental is available from a low weekly cost for people who prefer to spread the expense or only need a lift for a while.

Westwood emphasises a no-pressure approach: its surveyors are salaried rather than paid on commission, and every enquiry includes a free, no-obligation technical survey. An express service means same-day or next-day fitting is sometimes possible, which helps when a stairlift is needed quickly, for example to get someone home from hospital.

Aftercare is part of the offer, with servicing and maintenance packages, a complete warranty covering parts, labour and call-out fees, and a rapid response service that aims to answer faults within 24 hours. There is also a buyback option on new straight stairlifts. The company covers Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
