Over more than two decades, the company grew to operate seven branches across South Wales and the Midlands, employing 37 staff and serving a wide customer base with mobility products and professional engineering services.The company specialised in mobility scooters, stairlifts and through-floor lifts, supported by a dedicated in-house engineering division that handled installation and home adaptation work for both private clients and local authorities. As an authorised Motability Scheme dealer, Snowdrop also provided affordable leasing options for eligible customers receiving qualifying disability benefits.What distinguished Snowdrop from many competitors was its combination of retail expertise and professional engineering capabilities, allowing the company to offer a complete service from initial consultation through to installation and ongoing aftercare. Snowdrop Independent Living ceased trading in February 2022, with its lift installation and servicing operations subsequently acquired by Deltron Lifts.
