Springhill Mobility Unclaimed profile

Springhill Mobility is an independent, family-run mobility shop at Penn in Wolverhampton, founded by sisters Jakkii and Jeanette, one of whom has a specialist-seating background in the healthcare market. It is a general mobility retailer rather than a single-product specialist, with a spacious, easy-access showroom just off the A449 Penn Road.

The product range covers mobility scooters, wheelchairs, rise-and-recline chairs, stairlifts, bath lifts, walking aids such as rollators, tri-walkers and frames, walking sticks, and a wide selection of daily living aids. The shop also stocks a full range of incontinence wear, and brands include Repose, Karma, Invacare, Classic Canes, Kylie, Lille and Tena. Specialist seating advice is a particular strength.

Springhill Mobility serves customers in store and offers home visits and assessments by arrangement across Wolverhampton, the West Midlands and Staffordshire, which suits people who cannot easily get to the shop or who want equipment matched to their needs at home. The team focuses on giving honest advice and finding the right product rather than pushing a sale.

For people in and around Wolverhampton who want a friendly, independent shop with a broad range, specialist seating knowledge and the option of a home visit, Springhill Mobility offers a personal, local service. The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, and the team can advise on the right scooter, chair or aid for a person’s needs.

Is Springhill Mobility an established business?

We could not find a Companies House registration under this name when we checked on 17 August 2026. That is common and not a warning sign on its own, because sole traders and partnerships are not required to register. It does mean there are no public accounts to look at, so judge the business on the showroom visit and on what other customers say. Springhill was founded by sisters Jakkii and Jeanette, and Jakkii has a background in specialist seating in the healthcare market, which shows in the emphasis on rise and recline chairs.

Where it is and when it opens

The showroom is at Unit 1, Springhill Lane, Penn, Wolverhampton WV4 4SH, telephone 01902 546549. The company website gives opening hours as closed Monday, Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 10am to 1pm. Third-party directories list different hours, and the website itself still carries copy written during the pandemic, so it has not been updated recently. Ring before you travel rather than relying on either source.

What independent reviews say

Checked on 17 August 2026.

• Trustpilot: no profile found.
• Yell: a single 5 out of 5 review, which is too small a sample to judge by.

This is a genuine gap rather than a bad result. An independent shop with a specialist-seating background and almost no online review record is exactly the kind of business where a handful of first-hand accounts would be worth more than another national chain page.

What to check before you visit

• Brands stocked include Repose, Karma, Invacare, Classic Canes, Kylie and Lille. Ring ahead if you want to try a specific chair, as a small showroom cannot hold every model.
• Home visits are available on request, which is worth using for a rise and recline chair so the fit can be checked in the room it will live in.
• Servicing, repairs, delivery radius, warranty and finance are not published anywhere. Ask about all of them and get the answers on your quote.
• Check VAT relief eligibility before agreeing a price.
