Woodcock Mobility is a family-run, independent mobility dealer in the centre of Bridlington, on Manor Street opposite Iceland. The business traces its history back to 1970, when it started by maintaining three-wheeled Invacar mobility vehicles, and describes itself as Bridlington’s longest-established mobility dealer. It sells, services and repairs a wide range of equipment from its town-centre showroom.
The showroom carries new and reconditioned mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs and powerchairs, electric rise-and-recline chairs, bath lifts, walking aids such as rollators and frames, stairlifts and a broad selection of everyday living aids, from shower stools and commodes to grab rails and cushions. Brands stocked include Pride, Invacare, Electric Mobility, Roma, Drive DeVilbiss and Freerider, and the team can order in items not held in stock.
An on-site workshop handles servicing and repairs, which the company highlights as a particular strength, and equipment hire is available on wheelchairs and mobility scooters, which is popular with holidaymakers visiting Bridlington. For customers who cannot get to the showroom, home visits and product demonstrations can be arranged at a convenient time.
The showroom is open Monday to Saturday and serves Bridlington and the wider East Yorkshire area. For people who want a long-established local dealer with a full product range, an in-house workshop and the option to hire or arrange a home visit, Woodcock Mobility offers experience and dependable aftercare.

WOODCOCK MOBILITY ARE NOT TO BE RELIED ON BIGGGG STYLE
Due to an administration error on our side, we were unable to provide the seven scooters that you required on that particular day. We rang you back as soon as we realised that there was a problem which I believe was the following day and explained the situation to you.
We were able to offer 3 scooters on the day in question but you wanted 7.
We are only human and errors do occur for which we are sorry.

Andy and the team at Woodcock mobility in Bridlington are exceptional. We cant fault them at all. My mum hired a scooter everytime we went to Bridlington. The team dropped the scooter off and collected every time. We subsequently decided to buy a scooter and Andy took his time to explore options for my mum. We have had issues with me not charging the battery fully and Andy went out of his way to help – including charging it overnight for me – just superb. I would highly recommend them. No question – they guys know their stuff and are partners in your mobility journey. Ruth
