Information
After leaving his engineering fabrication business, David Watling started his close-knit family business, The Mobility Aids Centre Ltd in Peterborough. Whilst the new mobility aids business flourished, David became an original founder of The British Association of Wheelchair Distributors (BAWD). The Mobility Aids Centre’s early success even led the business to support the influential Professor, Stephen Hawking.
David’s Son, Jason Watling, also developed an interest in the mobility industry after visiting his first Naidex show when he was just 13 years old, which encouraged him to follow in his Father’s footsteps and work alongside him ever since. Due to the continued family business success, this led Jason to become a Chairman of Disability Peterborough.
